Levels

Beginners 1 is a fun, sweaty, enjoyable dance-filled program. Beginners will be exposed
to lots of great Middle Eastern music, and at the same time introduced to the fundamental
posture, isolations, basic steps, shimmies, and accents of bellydance.

Beginners 2, using the foundation from beginners 1, the students will be introduced to more
complex bellydance movements. Drill movements will also be introduced, to make sure students maintain a high level of their basic movements. Students are made familiar to layering body movements and isolations over a shimmy.

Intermediate 1-2 covers intense layered shimmies, complex combinations, rhythm recognization, more challenging movements and steps as well as learning a new choreography and improvisation. Veil and Saiidi cane may be required for this class.

Advanced, more choreographies and improvisations will be taught to the students in this level as they will learn much more challenging movements. This class will help you to identify and create your own style through choreography and improvisations. You can do the advanced class indefinitely as new material is always being introduced.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are a great way to master bellydance techniques at your own convenience.
Dancers with a desire to perform or teach should schedule regular private lessons for in-depth
feedback. Private Lessons are also a good way to focus on and strengthen a student’s weak
points.Fatema teaches private lessons for $85 an hour or $50 each for semi-private.
